In the 2021 census, 53.6% of households in the Ottawa Neighbourhood Study's 'Westboro' area rented their home, so slightly more households rent than own. In the neighbouring 'Laurentian' area (Carlingwood, Highland Park and McKellar Park) 41.6% rented.
