Richmond Road through Westboro Village is the area's main street. Carlingwood Shopping Centre covers the errands, and Wellington Street West and the side streets fill in the rest.

Westboro Village packs outdoor outfitters, independent cafés, bakeries and restaurants into a few blocks of Richmond Road and its side streets; most of the places listed here are confirmed against the Westboro Village BIA's member list. To the east, Wellington Street West has its own run of shops and restaurants.

To the west, Carlingwood Shopping Centre on Carling Avenue opened in 1956 and is anchored by Loblaws and Canadian Tire. Down by the river, Westboro Beach has a year-round restaurant.
