OREB reported 4.8 months of inventory for all Ottawa homes in September 2026, up from 4.1 a year earlier, and 4.4 months for single-family homes. Its sales-to-new-listings ratio was 34.5%, the lowest September result of the past decade, which means buyers had more listings to choose from than a year earlier.
